Jerry Tuwai continues to shine since he made his debut on the World Seven Series five years ago.
The Fiji Airways Fijian 7s pivot and former skipper continues to play an instrumental role and, at times, shoulders the burden alone.
After another splendid personal effort during the disappointing USA Sevens in Las Ve- gas, he was yesterday named in the tournament’s Dream Team.
And Fijian fans will again look to him to play a lead role in the defence of the Canada Sevens in Vancouver this weekend. Currently third on the standings with 84 points behind NZ (93) and USA (98), the team is in Pool B with Samoa, Kenya and Canada.
Can we improve after losing three games in Las Vegas? Yes – if our players follow Tuwai’s example.
