The Tonga A rugby team arrived yesterday for the 2019 World Rugby Pacific Challenge which starts at the ANZ Stadium, Suva on Friday.

Coach Lotu Filipine said this was part of the build –up to the Rugby World Cup which kicks off in Tokyo in September.

“We need to be ready for our first game against the Swire Shipping Fijian Warriors.

“We no longer bring oversees players so we are building up these local players for the RWC,” he said.
