Strength In Unity, Says Vuniwaqa

Strong women walk and stand together.
The Minister for Women and Poverty Alleviation Mereseini Vuniwaqa highlighted this during the Vital Voices Global Mentoring walk yesterday morning.
The walk involved women leaders, and women representatives from different groups and movements.
Ms Vuniwaqa said the walk was organised to inspire the generation of women leaders through mentorship.
She said mentorship was about conveying the experience, sharing the stories, gaining wisdom, challenges, insights and lessons that one learn in life.
Ms Vuniwaqa said there were a lot of potentials for women to become leaders and the walk was a good way of sharing experiences, challenges and opportunities.
“It was also a great opportunity to speak to the women leaders to know how they get to where they are,” she said.
“Mentors may not always be your cheerleaders, but they are always in your corner.”
