Domestic Trafficking In Children Case: Werelagi Remanded

It is alleged that between July 18 and July 22, 2015 in Suva, the suspect by the use of threats or force, caused a 15-year-old to enter into or remain in sexual servitude, with intent to cause that sexual servitude and shall be em­ployed or used for the purpose of prostitution.

Domestic Trafficking In Children Case: Werelagi Remanded

A 38-year-old man from Suva, who is charged with one count of aggravated sexual servitude and three counts of domestic trafficking in children, has been further remanded.

Josevata Werelagi appeared before Judge Justice Daniel Goundar yesterday.

Representing the state was Sadaf Shameem.

It is alleged that between July 18 and July 22, 2015 Wer­enalagi in Suva, by the use of threats or force, caused a 15-year-old to enter into or remain in sexual servitude, with intent to cause that sexual servitude and shall be em­ployed or used for the purpose of prostitution.

The case has been adjourned to March 14.
