Lorima Tuisasa is the latest road fatality victim. The 23-year-old of Mau Village, Namosi was allegedly hit by a bus while riding a bicycle along Noco road, Rewa on Tuesday.

According to a Police report, Tuisasa allegedly made a right turn when he was bumped by the bus traveling on the same lane.

He was described by his cousin Eremasi Bola as a humble and a very kind hearted man.

“He had been staying with us in Noco for about two months now and he was helping us at our farm” Mr Bola said.

“We will miss him a lot, all his jokes and all the good times we had with him.

“He was very hard working. He left us too soon and it’s so painful,” Mr Bola said.

Meanwhile, the driver of the bus in his 40s is being questioned as investigations continue.

A post mortem will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.

The road death toll stands at 14 compared to nine for the same period last year.
