Seaqaqa Central College won the Macuata Zone Two athlet­ics competition for four years in a row at Labasa Muslim College yesterday.

Seaqaqa Central College coordina­tor Jonacani Nawainaqila said they dedicate the win to all the athletes, their parents and school.

“We won 34 gold, 29 silver and 19 bronze medals,” Nawainaqila said.

“The secret of our success was teamwork and hard work and I want to thank the athletes for their dedi­cation.

“Winning four years in a row is a big achievement for the school.

“Now we will prepare those who need to take part in the Coke Games.

“Our school won both the girls and boys division.”

There were nine schools in Macu­ata Zone Two competition.

Labasa College came second with 18 gold, 19 silver and nine bronze medals and Dreketi High third (16, 16, 12).
