A-League star striker Roy Krishna is ready to lead the Vodafone Fijian football team against Mauritius at Churchill Park, Lautoka today.

“I can’t wait,” the Wellington Phoenix top goal scorer told Fiji FA Media yesterday.

“I urge fans to come out in numbers and motivate the boys.”

Fiji and Mauritius recorded comfortable wins over New Caledonia last week and today’s decider is deemed to be a thriller.

Krishna warned that the team from the Indian Ocean would be no pushover but nothing is impossible if only they work together.

“I have seen some players in their side who have individual quality but we can overcome them if we play as a team.”

“The guys who played against New Caledonia on Monday deserve a big crowd support and hopefully we will see more fans in Fijian colours on Sunday,” the 31-year-old added.
