Lawyer Appears In Court For Alleged Possession Of Illicit Drugs

Lawyer Appears In Court For Alleged Possession Of Illicit Drugs

Suva Lawyer Shazran Abdul Lateef has pleaded not guilty to one count of possession of illicit drugs in the Suva Magistrate Court this afternoon.

The raid was conducted by the Southern Division Task force team where a black case was found containing dried leaves later tested positive to be marijuana.

Apparatus alleged to be used for smoking was also found.

He was represented by the Devanesh Sharma and Filimoni Vosarogo.

Mr Lateef will re-appear on the 4th of September.
