New Sponsor Lifts Nadroga West Netters

Rhino Sports and Leisure Australia will be sponsoring the newly formed Nadroga West Netball Association for the 2019 season.
The association who covers the area of Yako village right to Malomalo, in the province of Nadroga was affiliated to Fiji Netball Association last year.
Association president Judy Kumar was delighted with the support from Rhino Sports which will help in the development of the sport.
“The association will not only govern netball but will also organise rugby games as well,” Kumar said.
“We are so thankful to Craig Brown the Rhino Sports director who has agreed to sponsor us in kind this season.
“They will be giving out Rhino sporting gears and merchandises.
“We’ll have under-15, under-19, open women, open men and mix categories in our competition.”
The Association will have their season knockout on April 27 at Rahmatullah Khan Memorial School grounds.
“We will not only have netball teams but we will invite rugby teams as well, $50 is registration fees for netball and $100 for rugby.
“We’re inviting young boys to come and participate. We will have rugby competition in the morning from 9am to 1pm and followed by the open men’s and mix categories,” Kumar added.
Rhino Sports will be giving $400 worth of sports gear to the winning team with some consolation prizes as well.
Hanahana netball club are joining the association this year.
“Other clubs include Namada, Malomalo, Korovuto, Navutu Sisters, Tau, Delaniyavu, Nalele, Visama and Raviravi.
“Doors are still open for clubs who wish to join in the association, we are open to everyone and the submission deadline is April 25,” Kumar added.
