Miss Fiji Runner-Up

Miss Fiji Priyanka Singh was named the runner- up for the 11th World Supermodel Production held at The Pearl Resort on Saturday night.
She was also the winner of the swim suit wear category.
Ms Singh was one of the 26 women who were vying for the Miss World Supermodel crown.
The 21-year-old said she was grateful for the lessons she learned over the one week.
“When my name was called on stage my heart was just pounding. I was so nervous, but praise the Lord,” Ms Singh said.
“My experiences throughout the week were pretty great and I will cherish them forever.
“I became close to everyone who was part of the competition, especially Shahnaz Deendost, who represented Afghanistan.
“I had a wonderful time during the Beqa Island photo shoot, underwater photo shoot and rehearsals and, yeah, it was fun.”
Ms Singh said she wanted to empower more women.
“We were pretty sure that Japan was going to win because she was a very professional model and I have seen her perform through the whole week,” she said.
“I believe that being a woman is a gift and I will empower other girls to live a healthy lifestyle.
“For now I do not have a next plan, but will see what comes my way.”
Ms Singh is a hair and make-up entrepreneur having successfully built her brand in Fiji and is regarded highly in the industry.
