Bad Weather Force Vessel To Return To Suva, Adi Selai Opens Lau Meet
Due to adverse weather conditions and rough seas, the head of government has decided to return to Suva, prioritising the safety of the crew and the passengers.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama last night on his way to Lakeba. He has since returned due to bad weather.
Assistant Minister for iTaukei Affairs, Adi Selai Adimaitoga will be opening the Lau Provincial Council meeting in Lakeba this morning.
Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama had departed Suva last night on board the RFNS Kacau to open the meeting.
The Department of Information posted on its Facebook page that due to adverse weather conditions and rough seas, the head of government has decided to return to Suva, prioritising the safety of the crew and the passengers.
The Prime Minister was suppose to hold talanoa sessions after the official opening.
There is still rain and flooding throughout the country and Fijians are urged to stay safe and listen to weather updates.
