3 Out Of 3 For Fijian Pearls Over 24th Ranked Singapore

The Fijian Pearls side ended their Singapore tour on a positive finish after defeating the host side 70-48 in their final test match on Saturday afternoon.
The 14th ranked Vicki Wilson coached side won the first and second tests and will play in the Arafura Games this week.
The Fijian side got off to a strong start in the first quarter with captain Matila Waqanidrola (GK) excelling with midcourt services from Asilika Sevutia and shooters Una Rauluni and Lydia Panapasa enjoying most possessions.
But Singapore provided the challenge holding the visitors 19-13 at one stage.
The Pearls lifted the momentum in the second quarter with overseas based Caitlyn Fisher in the mid court area maintaining their dominance.
Rauluni (GA) displayed a remarkable performance having 80 per cent shooting rate which allowed Fiji to lead 40-25 at halftime.
The 24th ranked Singapore side just had to blame themselves in the last two quarters with poor communication and errors which forced the visitors to extend their lead to 58-36 at the end of third quarter and finished the game winning 70-48.
