The Minister for Fisheries, Semi Koroilavesau, says he is impressed with the level of rehabilitation works at the Caboni Multi-Species Hatchery Station in Ra.

Mr Koroilavesau visited the station on Thursday to inspect the progress of works.

Concrete tanks have been constructed and production will soon begin for freshwater and brackish water species.

The ministry is grateful for the external assistance that has been provided from development partners.

The Caboni Multi-Species Hatchery Station in Ra was severely damaged during TC Winston in early 2016.
