Vodafone Vanua Championship: Serua Hold Bua In Solevu

The Serua rugby side denied Bua any chance of winning their first Vodafone Vanua Championship match of the year but holding them to an 18-18 draw at the Solevu Catholic School ground in Bua yesterday.
Speaking to SUNsports Serua head coach Ilimo Vudiniabola said they were pleased with their performance.
“I thank the boy’s for a great performance today, it was better from our previous game,” Vudiniabola said.
“However, we have identified some weaknesses that we need to improve on before our next game against Macuata.”
Bua head coach Niko Ratucove was grateful to his players for a great performance against a well drilled Serua side.
Ratucove said weaknesses they need to address are their scrum, lineouts and fitness.
“We have to improve on these areas in the third round of the championship,” he added.
Bua take on Nanukuloa at home while Serua take on Macuata in Labasa in the third round.
