A group of 17 United States flag and general officers from the National Defence University in Washington, DC, visited the country from May 1 to 3.

The first stop of their educational tour was to learn more about how other nations integrated elements of national power to address national and regional threats and opportunities.

During their visit here, they met with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces leaders at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua, Suva, followed by a dinner at the Officers Mess.

They also visited the historic World War II gun battery at Momi Bay and had a guided tour of the Fiji National Museum.

The group will continue their tour to Australia, Singapore, and Hawaii. Upon their return to Washington DC, the same group will discuss their experiences with the United States Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff.
