Wailoaloa Developments Pte Limited yesterday, carried out the ground­breaking ceremony for their $40 mil­lion Palm Beach Estate Townhouses Project at Wailoaloa, Nadi.

The company, fully owned by Hari Punja and Sons, said the development was launched at a level that was not previously available in Fiji.

About the project:

Chairman of Wailoaloa Developments Pte Ltd, Rohit Punja said the new modern designed 30 Townhouses, includes 14 three bedrooms and 16 two bedrooms in a secured gated community.

The Townhouse development will be built on Palm Beach Estate’s 44 acre property, Wailoaloa.

“Each of the three bedroom apartments will have a private swimming pool while the two bedrooms Townhouses with have an option on the swimming pool.

“The Townhouse will be sold with a freehold tittle.”

Mr Punja said the Townhouses will have a cov­ered and lockable carport and a fenced private back-yard.The three bedroom Townhouse is substantial with an internal dimension of 215 square metres and a back-yard fenced area of about 50 sq metres.

Mr Punja said the contract was awarded to Jacks Manufacturing, for two of the first Town­houses. It is expected to be completed dates of which were expected to be in January, 2020.

  • The Townhouses have been designed by De­sign Hut, a well-known architectural firm with extensive experience in designing and project development services.
  • They will be built to full cyclone engineering standard, using all cyclone grade fixtures and materials.

“The first of the Townhouse will be used as a model and display unit, which will be later sold to a successful bidder.

“This display unit will be fully furnished with all white goods, furniture, and fittings.

“Our prices for the Townhouse will be very competitive, due to the volume of construc­tion and the use of modern design and modern building materials.

“All the 30 Townhouses will be in the secured Palm Beach gated complex, which will be manned 24 hrs per day with foot patrol.”

Mr Punja said the Townhouses would have the option of using a highly efficient and modern solar system for power supply to the complete unit including swimming pool pump, hot water and air-conditioning.

Future developments

Meanwhile 106 lots, each 750 square metres and not including 14 acres on the beachfront were developed with only 11 remaining with the rest sold.

Mr Punja said they were well on their way to building their new hotel which would have a contemporary design out of Bali.

Mr Hari Punja carried out the groundbreaking ceremony along with his wife Tara and other family members including sons Rohit and Ajay Punja.
