Lautoka football captain and striker Samuela Drudru says he is ready to play against Nadi in Saturday’s Vodafone Fiji FACT semi-final at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.

In an interview with SUNsports yesterday, the 30-year-old Nayaca, Nadarivatu native said Nadi have been their arch rivals over many decades.

Drudru highlighted he has an idea on how Nadi would play the semi-final and that means they need to work extra hard.“Our players must be dedicated to the task ahead.

“Nadi will come out strong but we have to train hard to prepare for them.

“I know the Nadi team will target some of us too with their game formation.”

Drudru admitted that last week most of the players were down with flu during their preparations for the pool stages of the Fiji FACT tournament.

“But through team work the boys managed to come out strong to be the pool winners.

“This week we will train well for the semi-finals,” he said.

Drudru said he would focus on improving his finishing touches.

“The main thing in football is scoring goals and my main aim during training is to improve on my finishing.”

Drudru has urged Lautoka fans to come out in numbers to support them.
