The parents of New Zealand man Ashkan Farsani may be flying his body back to Auckland tomorrow.

Close family friends have confirmed that the distraught parents flew in after he was identified by a friend.

Mr Farsani was left outside the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva on Wednesday with suspected stab wounds.

His partner in Fiji, fashion designer Bulou Caeway, who claims she is nine months pregnant with their child, confirmed that Mr Farsani’s parents may be leaving with him on Monday.

The heavily-pregnant designer shared with Fiji Sun details of her life with Mr Farsani. She said he was excited to become a father and was a kind and humble man.

She is hoping to get clearance from doctors before she can decide on her plans to travel to Auckland, New Zealand, for Mr Farsani’s funeral.

Two men surrendered themselves in relation to Mr Farsani’s death. They continue to be questioned by Police and remain in custody.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said Mr Farsani was a businessman involved in the export of agricultural produce.
