The Nadroga rugby side will not leave any stone unturned as they face Skipper Cup Premiership points table leaders Naitasiri in round four at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka tomorrow.

Naitairi remained unbeaten this season so far and lead the table after three rounds with 14 points ahead of Suva (13), Jacks Nadi (10).

The Stallions after three rounds recorded a lone win and sits in seventh spot with five points.

Nadroga Rugby Union president Tiko Matawalu said the team is expecting a tough match against the Highlanders.

“We are in a tough position now and we need to work hard to earn a point,” he said.

“After watching the Naitasiri beat Nadi last week, we know we have a mountain to climb.

“We know Naitasiri will be missing the services of some reps to the Swire Shipping Fijian Latui but Naitasiri is Naitasiri.

“All I can say to the rugby followers that it will be a tough, and entertaining rugby.”

WIN FOR DAU

Meanwhile, the team will try to win and dedicate the match to the former rep and trainer/coach late Nimilote Dau who passed away last week.

He was laid to rest at his village of Rukurukulevu in Nadroga yesterday.

“This has been a big loss to the team and we will try our best to win and dedicate it to Dau who had played an integral role in the life of Nadroga Rugby Union,” he said.

Dau was also involved in training the national teams at the sand dunes.
