Olympian Kitione Taliga will start at fullback for the Jack’s Nadi side as they face Rewa in round five of the Skipper Cup Premiership clash at Prince Charles Park, Nadi Saturday.

Nadi Rugby Union chairman Sekove Tuilakeba said yesterday that the Dratabu native has been training the four weeks and finally got the green light to play.

“Yes, Kiti is in the run on team for this Saturday, he has done his part by training for the last few weeks. He has been in impressive form and will add a lot of fire power to the backs.”

Tuilakeba said Rewa should come expecting to play quality rugby.

“Nadi has prepared well and we need to continue with the momentum. Rewa recorded their first win of the season and we won’t take them lightly.

“We went back to the drawing board to correct our mistakes. It will be an interesting match.”

Tuilakeba thanked the vanua o Nadi, Sabeto, Narewa and the all companies that have been backing the team.

“Our main target is to reach the semi-final as we want to challenge the Farebrother trophy. That is what we want to do this year.”

The side have roped in Otago based- Naulia Dawai and Lote Nasiga who both started from the bench last week. Some names to look out in the side includes Rick Isabel, Peceli Kato, Simione Tora, Simione Nawai, Jolame Luvevou, Epeli Saukuru, Apisai Viriviri, and Samuela Toga.
