Elusive playmaker Waisea Nacuqu has forced his way into Gareth Baber’s 12-member squad for the London 7s, which gets underway tonight.

The Fiji Sun understands that Baber has opted to stay with the team that won in Hong Kong and reached the Cup final in Singapore.

Tough Namosi native Asaeli Tuivoka has also made the team while Isoa Tabu is the 13th player (to be on stand-by). Napolioni Ratu is not going to play in London.

Meanwhile, Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer John O’Connor confirmed last night that former 7s captain Kalione Nasoko is back in the country. Nasoko had flown to Scotland to sort out his contract with Edinburgh Rugby.

“We are arranging for Kali’s knee surgery so he could start his rehab and be ready when the next series starts, and later on, the Olympics,” O’Connor said.
