Why can’t we act responsibly and sensibly when it comes to dealing with the environment?
It seems some companies extracting stones and gravel from rivers in Labasa should be monitored by the relevant authorities.
Although they have been given the licence to carry out business they turn to misuse Government roads. One such example is the road to Korotari where a new bridge is in construction.
The road which was once easily accessible to pedestrians, sugarcane farmers and other motorists is now like driving through small hills and pot holes.
