Let’s take it home, Serevi urges players

Sevens maestro Waisale Serevi has urged the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team to go out and win the Paris 7s in France this weekend.
Serevi who is now coaching the Russian 7s team went on social media to congratulate the 7s team for winning the London 7s and grab the top spot in the 2018/19 HSBC World Sevens Series. “Congratulations to our mighty Fiji Rugby 7s warriors, you have made us proud this weekend,” Serevi posted in Facebook.
“Vinaka coach Gareth Baber for all the sacrifice, Nacani Cawanibuka for looking after the boys for all the nearly die sessions.
“Vinaka vakalevu na waqe ra cauravou. Bring on the #paris7s Let’s take it all home boys.”
NOW IN PARIS
The national 7s team left for Paris yesterday, on the Eurostar which is a high-speed railway service connecting London with Amsterdam, Avignon, Brussels, Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Disneyland Paris, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Paris, and Rotterdam.
POOLS
For the Paris tournament, the Fijians are in Pool A where they face Argentina, Ireland, England.
In Pool B are Australia, South Africa, Wales, Kenya.
USA top Pool C with Canada, Samoa, Spain.
For Pool D the top seeds are France, New Zealand, Scotland and Japan.
Barring any upsets, the Fijians are to likely play either New Zealand or France in the Cup quarterfinals while USA are also likely to face either Australia or South Africa.
If Fiji and USA win their Cup quarterfinals then they are to meet in the Cup semi-finals which will determine the winner of the series.
