Labasa FC To Decide On New Coach

The Labasa Football Association executives are going to meet soon to decide on their new coach.
This is after former coach Anand Sami resigned after the Vodafone Fiji FACT tournament last month.
Labasa FA president Riyaz Khan said they have a few coaches in line but they need to decide on who is to replace Sami.
“We have sent a proposal to the Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf and are now waiting for his reply,” Khan said.
“Since Sami left former striker Maciu Dunadamu and former coach Ronil Lal have stepped in to help train the team.
“The team need to prepare for the Vodafone Premier League which will soon resume. Hence, we are grateful to receive assistance from Lal and Dunadamu.
“We are expecting to travel across as Subrail Park main ground is closed for maintenance works until further notice.”
Lal is currently teaching at Nadogo Central College and had coached Labasa to win the 2016 Courts Interdistrict Championship.
