Another intimidation case

This is another case of concern regarding Police officers at the Suva Courthouse.

Another journalist was subjected to intimidation at the hands of a man accused of murder.

This time a FBC TV journalist trying to cover a story and staying within the ambits prescribed by the courts for reporting, had her camera blocked by a man accused of killing his wife by allegedly making her drink weed-killer.

The journalist told the accused that he had no right to do so.

And while this was happening, the Police officer escorting the man stood on the side and smiled.

Confusing sign

The location of Cunningham Road is well known and thank God for that.

However, one can feel sorry for a newcomer.

The sign on Princes Road that should be pointing towards Cunnigham Road was pointing in the other direction yesterday.

Hopefully nobody had gone looking for the four stages of Cunningham in the Wailoku and Delainavesi areas.

Bus stand activities

Residents in Makoi, Nasinu, have raised concerns on how some school children are able to hide behind the bus stand at Makoi along Kings Road and indulge in a little extracurricular activity of sniffing glue.

It is obviously a very busy place. The Police station is only an arm’s length away.

And these children are definitely buying the glue from a shop.

To the shop owners, please stop selling glue to children and hopefully Police could patrol these areas more.
