Trial Date Set For Josua Lalauvaki Murder Case
The two police officers, Kelepi Duri Tautaumacala Kolinisau and Selema Tikoenaburevere, are charged for allegedly murdering Josua Lalauvaki following an altercation outside a Suva nightclub on 2nd September 2018.

The High Court in Suva has set the trial date for two suspended Police officers facing murder charge.
This matter was called today at the Suva High Court before Justice Vinsent Perera. The two police officers, Kelepi Duri Tautaumacala Kolinisau and Selema Tikoenaburevere, are charged for allegedly murdering Josua Lalauvaki following an altercation outside a Suva nightclub on 2nd September 2018.
Mr Lalauvaki died at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital on 11th October 2018 as a result of injuries allegedly sustained by him as a result of the police
assaults.
Trial date has been fixed from 14 to 25 October 2019.
The matter has been adjourned to 14 July 2019 for Pre-Trial Conference.
Bail has been further extended for both the accused persons.
