Alleged Murder Case Transferred To The High Court

Both the accused are seeking a private lawyer and confirmed to the Court that the disclosures from the State have been received.

The case of two men who are charged with the alleged murder of a Nadi man has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court.

Eroni Vaqewa, 36 and Emoni Saukiwere, 34 both of Lavusa, Nadi appeared before Magistrate Nilmini Ferdinandez at the Nadi Magistrates Court yesterday.

The two are alleged to have murdered Nadi man, Isikeli Rabuka.

Both the accused are seeking a private lawyer and confirmed to the Court that the disclosures from the State have been received.

The two were further remanded in custody.

The case will be called on June 26 at the Lautoka High Court.
