Mulomulo Slugger Ronald Singh Warns Ratu To Come Prepared

Mulomulo welterweight slugger Ronald Naidu wants hard hitting Saimoni Ratu to come up with something new in their return fight at Prince Charles Park, Nadi on Saturday.
The six-round fight is an undercard to the main bouts where Sebastian Singh defends the Fiji middleweight title against Siliveni Nawai while veteran Abhay Chand fights Tomu Gaunavou for the vacant Fiji super middleweight title.
The programme is under the South Pacific Boxing Promotions.
Speaking to SUNsports, Naidu said he has been training with Nawai under the watchful eye of trainer Chunchul Babba.
“I’m ready for Ratu anytime,” he said.
“I will do my talking in the ring. I last fought him in 2016 where I won. I hope Ratu comes up with something new and not that same boring stuff like in 2016.
“I hope he comes in with more power and enterprising skills for a good fight.”
Naidu thanked promoter Freddy Chand for giving him another fight.
“The promoter is assisting us to earn our bread and butter. We need promoters to stage more fights.”
The 28-year-old has fought 14 fights with 7 wins, 4 losses and 3 draws.
Ratu who hails from Serea in Naitasiri is the younger brother of former Fijian middleweight champions Joeli Naleca and Opeti Tagi.
The other interesting fights see heavyweight champion Petero Qica Jnr taking on James Singh who is predicting a knockout win.
Ba’s Savenaca Naliva facing a fitter Epeli Naliva of Namosi. Also making an appearance in classy Joe Ravudi Jnr who fights Tevita Sete while Jese Ravudi will be tested by Malakai Marama.
