The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians checked into camp at Suva’s Grand Pacific Hotel yesterday to prepare for six tests building up to the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.

The first test will be against the New Zealand Maori at the ANZ Stadium, Suva on July 11

Head coach John McKee convened a meeting with the team last night to discuss what is expected to be a gruelling week of training ahead.

Senior players including Api Ratuniyarawa, Tevita Cavubati, Manasa Saulo Semi Radraradra, Ben Volavola and Vereniki Goneva were among those that have joined camp.

Also in the team are Matavesi brothers Josh and Sam.

Yet to join the team last night were captain Dominiko Waqaniburotu, Leone Nakarawa, Josua Tuisova, Filipo Nakosi, Setareki Tuicuvu, Albert Tuisue, Semi Kunatani, Nikola Matawalu,Tevita Ratuva, Alivereti Veitokani and Patrick Osbourne.
