A 21-year-old man who is being questioned over the death of a 19-year-old woman remains in custody as Police investigations continue.
Dead is Salanieta Leba, who was rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said Ms Leba was allegedly stabbed during a heated argument at the Ministry of Forestry quarters at Colo-i-Suva.
The post-mortem examination was expected to be conducted on Sunday.
“The suspect is in custody at the Valelevu Police Station as investigations continue,” Ms Naisoro said.
