RESIGN!! Fijian Youths Tell SODELPA MP Bulitavu
Social Democratic Liberal Party MP Mosese Bulitavu.

Fijian youths were busy calling for SODELPA Member of Parliament, Mosese Bulitavu, to resign.

The call comes after Mr Bulitavu on his Facebook page had labelled married Indo-Fijian women as promiscuous.

He also said that the iTaukei community had learned stabbing from the community had learned stabbing from the Indo-Fijian community.

Mr Bulitavu initially stuck to his remarks, but relented and removed the post after SODELPA president, Ro Filipe issued a four-sentence long statement in which Ro Filipe said he ordered Mr Bulitavu to remove it from his Facebook page.

Surprisingly, the call for Mr Bulitavu to resign also came from former SODELPA youth leader Pita Waqavonovono.

Mr Bulitavu yesterday said he had made a public apology and that he had made a joint statement with Party president Ro Filipe.

When questioned whether he was going to resign, he said he would not and according to him, the issue was resolved.
