The much awaited Farebrother Trophy third challenge between holders BLK Nadroga and Skipper Cup Premiership champions Suva is set for Friday at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.

Nadroga Rugby Union president Tiko Matawalu made the confirmation after the side defeated Jack’s Nadi 20-3 at Prince Charles Park in Nadi yesterday.

He said this was mainly for the fans to support the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians as they face the New Zealand Maori in their first clash at the ANZ Stadium, Suva on Saturday.

“We have agreed to stage the match on Friday,” he said.

“FRU (Fiji Rugby Union) had expressed their interest to us earlier the week as the test match is very important needing all our support.

“We have agreed but we are still trying to confirm the time as it is likely to be 5pm or later.”

Suva are to miss their key players who are now in the Flying Fijians squad.
