Olympian Robert Elder has bagged Fiji’s first gold medal for the Pacific Games.
He won the Men’s individual recurve.
Elder dedicated his win to his wife, Monica and his six children.
He also thanked FASANOC and to the Government of Fiji for their financial support. The archery team only fielded five shooters and won three medals.

Silver in the women compound – Lisa Leota
Bronze in the men’s compound – Fredrick Leota
