Bank hopes the donation will help improve the students’ learning capabilities

Students at five primary schools in Ba just had their learning capabilities upgraded, compliments of ANZ Fiji.

ANZ Fiji donated two computers and one laptop each to:– Ba School for Special Education, Navoli Sangam School, Koronubu Sanatan Primary School, Nacaci Hindu School and Veisaru Sanatan Dharam School.

Each school head was at the bank branch in Ba to collect the computers and laptops yesterday.

ANZ Fiji Country Head Saud Minam hopes the donation will help prepare the students for a world full of opportunity.

“We hope that this equipment will improve the learning experience for students and help them prepare for a world full of opportunity,” Mr Minam said.

“It’s also about empowering these wonderful teachers with the tools to support their students in their learning.”

He said the Fiji Leadership team from ANZ Fiji was grateful to be part of the Ba community.

“Education is a very important part and we always ensure that we continue to support that sector,” he said.

Ba School for Special Education head teacher Ana Tuiova acknowledged ANZ Fiji for their generosity.

“We have 73 special children at our school,” she said

“These computers will be used daily by the vocational students to help with their learning.”

Veisaru Sanatan Dharam School head teacher Rajesh Kumar said the computers and laptops would greatly benefit his students.
