RKS, QVS And Marist Dominate Schools Rugby

RKS and QVS have booked their spots in the national quarterfinals starting from the U14 to the U18. In the U19 already confirmed are RKS and St John’s College.

Marist Brothers High School have won the Under-18 grade of the Vodafone Southern Zone Secondary Schools rugby competition after thrashing Nasinu Secondary School 42-13 in the final yesterday.

Former Deans Trophy holders Latter Day Saints have finally made it to the national playoffs for coming third after they drew 10-10 with John Wesley College. The match was awarded to LDS for scoring the first points.

RKS, QVS DOMINATE

Ratu Kadavulevu School U18 rugby team will face Queen Victoria School in the final of the Eastern Zone Secondary School rugby competition after defeating St John’s College 17-8 in their semi-final match. QVS had beaten Lelean Memorial School 12-8 in the first semifinal.

RKS and QVS have booked their spots in the national quarterfinals starting from the U14 to the U18. In the U19 already confirmed are RKS and St John’s College.

U17; QVS and RKS have automatically qualified while Lelean Memorial will face All Saints Secondary School in the third place playoffs next week;

U19; RKS 22-13 LMS; SJC 24-12 QVS
