Pacific Games: Talented Yee Sisters Win Silver In Table Tennis

The Yee sisters won silver in the table tennis women’s doubles event on Saturday.

Sally and Grace Yee lost 3 – 0 to table tennis powerhouse, Vanuatu.

Laced with experience and a full house of Vanuatu supporters, Anolyn Lulu and Priscilla Tommy proved yet again why they are Pacific champions.

They were also instrumental in the gold medal win over Fiji in the women’s team event.

This is Grace Yee’s second Pacific Games. The Year 12 student at Jai Narayan College in Suva was content with the silver medal win.

Her older sister, Sally, an International Olympic Committee (IOC) scholarship student in Japan, is determined to change that at the Solomon Islands Pacific Games in 2023.

Sally also Sally won another the silver medal after losing 0 – 4 to Vanuatu in the women’s singles event.

On Friday, Sally and the oldest member of Team Fiji  Wang Qi won bronze in the mixed doubles.
