Nasoko On Rehab, Eyes Olympic Games

Former Fiji Airways Fijian 7s captain Kalione Nasoko is now on rehab after undergoing surgery for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
Nasoko posted on Facebook about his recovery and thanking everyone who had assisted him.
“The ACL was repaired. I’m feeling pretty awesome and looking forward to hitting the rehab programme and getting myself back to full strength over the next six or so months,” Nasoko posted.
“I won’t be going to Edinburgh for now, rather will be staying in Fiji, getting my body right and focusing on earning a place back with the Fijian 7s for the Olympics.”
With all messages of support during his hospitalisation, Nasoko said, he felt very humbled and overwhelmed.
“Also a special thank you to the awesome people in Sydney who came to see me and look after me leading up to and after the surgery. It really means a lot.”
For now, Nasoko said, he looks forward to Yasawa hosting their third challenge of the Bainimarama Shield against Lautoka at Churchill Park, this Friday.
