Family Removed From Police Barracks For Peddling Hard Drugs

It has been confirmed that families of two Police officers have been given notice to vacate their quarters after family members were found to be dealing hard drugs.

This was revealed by the Commissioner of Police Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho who said that no mercy would be given to those involved in such situations.

“The Police officers’ spouses and children are involved in dealing these hard drugs and are living in the Police barracks,” he said.

“I have no option, but to look into a way to remove them from the force. I will get my legal team to look into the best way to deal with them because they have compromised their positions as Police officers,”

Commissioner Qiliho said that the hard drugs were linked to outside networks and not from the Police exhibits.

Investigations are also continuing on information received of the illicit trade. Commissioner Qiliho said families involved in it have infiltrated the system by actually living in the Police quarters.
