The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians must win today’s Pacific Nations Cup Test opener against Japan at the Kamaishi Recovery Memorial Stadium in the Iwate Prefecture.

Head coach John McKee knows the importance of the win – to improve their World Rugby rankings and keep the momentum right to the Rugby World Cup in September.

The Flying Fijians could be on the cusp of causing even more pain to the French, as a win today by more than 15 points could see them jump ahead of Les Bleus into 8th place.

McKee has brought in first five-eighth Ben Volavola to control and direct play in this crucial encounter. With his kicking boots on, Volavola can add those crucial points.

This is nothing new for Volavola. He’s done it before and he can do it again.
