Vodafone Deans Trophy: Mission Accomplished

Defending Vodafone Deans Trophy champions Ratu Kadavulevu School have all their teams qualified for next Saturday’s semi-finals at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
The RKS Under-18 side scrapped through with a 15-6 win over Latter Day Saints College in the last of the quarterfinals at the ANZ Stadium, Suva yesterday.
Trailing 6-5 for most part of the game, the defending champions fought back with first five eight Peni Dania scoring the crucial try.
RKS assistant principal Walesi Soqoiwasa said they have fulfilled their quarterfinal mission and have set their target going into semi-finals.
“A win is a win and we are happy that every grade have now qualified for the semi-final which was our target,” he said.
“Come the semi-final preparation we will have to raise the bar to another level.
“We are not only focused on one grade but every grade to achieve their target.”
In the U14 grade RKS take on Marist Brothers High School while Suva Grammar School face Lelean Memorial School at 9am.
Lautoka based-Natabua High School take on RKS in U15 grade while the other sees Queen Victoria School playing Marist at 10am.
In U16 grade RKS play Ba Provincial Freebird Institute while Lelean Memorial tackle QVS at 11.10am.
RKS meet SGS in the U17 grade and the other will be Nasinu taking on QVS.
In the U19 grade LMS meet St John’s College while RKS take on Ba Provincial Freebird Institute. In the main U18 grade: Marist meet Queen Victoria while RKS face Cuvu College.
