The Dolokoto family will be in full force backing Queen Victoria School Vodafone Deans Under-18 campaign at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka today.

And they have the full support of Fiji Airways Flying Fijians hooker Mesulame Dolokoto who will start from the bench against Canada in the Pacific Nations Cup test at the ANZ Stadium, Suva today.

Mesulame’s younger brother Paul will carry on the family tradition playing for the Victorians against Marist Brothers High School in the first semifinal at 2.05pm today.

Mesulame hopes his younger brother and his Victorians will do their best to reach the final next week-something he and current All Blacks wing Sevu Reece also achieved but fell short losing to Ratu Navula College 16-19 in the final in 2013.

Their mother Bale Dolokoto said Mesulame wants them to support Paul and the Victorians.

“We have been divided between the QVS and the Flying Fijians since the first of the Pacific Test Series against the Maori All Blacks,”she said.

“But Mesu wants us to be there for Paul and that’s why we are here in Sigatoka.”

QVS, which featured current Fiji Airways Fijian 7s rep Meli Derenalagi, last won the Deans Trophy in 2016 defeating MBHS 21-18 in the final.

The second semifinal between defending champions Ratu Kadavulevu School and Cuvu College kicks off at 3.30pm.
