The Tonga rugby team are eyeing to end the 2019 Pacific Nations Cup on a high note.

The Tongans arrived into the country yesterday as they take on Canada at Churchill Park, aTonga head coach Toutai Kefu said they have set their target before they turn their focus on the final lap of preparation for the Rugby World Cup in September.

“Preparations are going good,” the former Wallabies No.8 and RWC winner said.

“We haven’t gone into our training yet but we’re hopefully looking forward to finish on a good note. We want to play well and hopefully get some positive results.”

Kefu is keeping his fingers cross as some of their key players are injured.

“It is a short week and I think we have plenty of time to prepare ourselves,” he added.

The match kicks off at 3pm.
