The Nasinu football side expects a tough Labasa team in the semifinal of the 2019 INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament at Churchill Park in Lautoka this Saturday.

And Coach Tagi Vonolagi pleads for fans and businessmen in Nasinu to support the team.

“We got back training on Tuesday as players need a break after the pool games,” Vonolagi said

“We are glad to have all the players on board for training this week despite the continuous wet weather.

“We will load the players with tough training and get them on track before Saturday.

“Semifinal is another ball game all together and Labasa is a good team. We last met in the B.O.G semifinal 14 years ago.

“Apart from our usual training on the field we have blackboard sessions where we discuss in depth our game plan.

“Finance is a major obstacle for the side and after Nasinu reached the semifinal, we hope Nasinu businessmen will assist the team.

“We are urging all our fans to come out in numbers and support the side at Churchill Park this Saturday.”
