$10,200 Cash Prize For U-18 Deans Finalists

Vodafone Super Deans Under-18 finalists will share $10,200 cash prize tomorrow.
Tailevu schools Ratu Kadavulevu School and Queen Victoria School will clash for the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union’s top prize at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.
The cash prize has been increased from $9000 and the total prize-money pool is $30,000.
FSSRU vice-president Biu Colati confirmed yesterday the increase while acknowledging the support of sponsor Vodafone Fiji Limited and the Fiji Rugby Union in the Deans Trophy competition in 2019.
“I would like to thank all stakeholders for assisting us in 2019,” he said.
“I would also like to acknowledge the support of the media for promoting the competition.
“The FSSRU likes to highlight that the grandstand tickets will be $30, embankment $10 and we are providing 3000 tickets only to students with uniforms.”
Colati said the winning coach and manager would also get cash rewards.
VAKARAU GRATEFUL
Vodafone Fiji sponsorship manager Adriu Vakarau was grateful to be given the opportunity to sponsor the competition for the first time.
“As we approach the final week we all excited to deliver the best. I would like to thank FRU for facilitating all the competitions.”
FRU development manager Sale Sorovaki said;
