Ratu Kadavulevu School Under 15 Captain Apenisa Cavuilati believes dedication, hard work and respect enabled them to establish a 27 – 8 win over Queen Victoria School.

“It was just through commitment and hard work.

“We also had a bond which was strong and it showed on the field and we want to thank God Almighty for the win,” Cavuilati said.

RKS dominated most possessions in the first half as they displayed brilliant attacking techniques which allowed them to continuously penetrate through the QVS defence line and scored their first try through Manasa Matanisiga and conversion was successful through Filimoni Dreu.

The boys from Delainakaikai continues to enjoy possessions and scored another two tries just before half time through Happy Osborne and Josua Dovia which awarded them a 12-0 lead at half time.

QVS Coach Samuela Yalayala said: “RKS was a better side, we made mistakes they countered it and they deserved the win,” Yalayala said.
