A 71-year-old man residing in Nakasi has died following an alleged hit and run accident yesterday.
Police said the incident occurred at the junction of Vavalagi Road.
The victim was crossing the road when he was allegedly bumped by a vehicle which investigators are trying to track down.
The road death toll currently stands at 36 compared to 49 for the same period last year.
