A 34year old farmer of Naitasiri is in custody at the Totogo Police Station for allegedly stabbing his 34yr old wife yesterday afternoon.
The alleged incident took place in Walu Bay.
The suspect allegedly stabbed his wife several times after she refused to talk to him.
She was rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital where she later died.
Investigations continue.
