McKee: Bad Luck For Tawake

Fiji Airways Flying Fijians head coach John McKee confirmed there were no major injuries to the side except for Kalivati Tawake.
Tawake was replaced by Leeroy Atalifo yesterday.
Missing from training was fullback Alivereti Veitokani, centre Semi Radradra while Jale Vatubua was on rehab.
“We have some sickness in camp, so it is better for the players to rest. Semi is in cotton wool,” he said.
“We are taking precautions with him. But we expect him to be okay very soon.
“It is an unfortunate injury for Kalivati in the game last week and I really feel for him as he really worked hard to get into the selection.
“It is bad luck for him as we thought it was a minor injury that would heal in 10 days, but he did not respond to training. He is out for five weeks so we could not take any risks.
“All the support we get from the people attending the training and the games with all the messages from overseas is a big motivator for the players. We need that support right through to the RWC,” the coach said.
