Police Seek Help In Hunt For Partner Of Dead Teenager

Police have appealed to members of the public for assistance in locating a 24-year-old man wanted for questioning in relation to the death of a 19-year-old female at Nabitu Settlement, Sigatoka.
Joji Turukoya was last seen with his partner, Maraia Tauyavu, early last Friday, Police said.
Ms Tauyavu was found motionless near the Sigatoka River by residents of a farming settlement last weekend.
“Anyone with information is requested to call the Western Division Command Centre on 9905457,” the report said.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the victim was last seen and heard arguing with her partner at their home in Nabitu Settlement before she ran off.
Police investigations continue.
