Big Win For Republic of Fiji Military Forces At The International Defence Rugby Competition

The Republic of Fiji Military Forces started their International Defence Rugby Competition with a bang yesterday in Tokyo.
The Sireli Ledua-captained side thrashed Korea 92-6 and plays their next game on September 19. Team manager Major Elia Rokowaloa said they are confident of defending the trophy they won in 2015 in England.
Fiji and the United Kingdom (who contested the 2015 final) are seeded while all the semi-finalists from 2015 (Fiji, UK, France, and New Zealand) will avoid each other in the first round of the competition. The participating countries are Japan, UK, Australia, Korea, Georgia, Tonga, New Zealand (Defence Blacks), Papua New Guinea, Fiji, France.
The final is on September 23 and the team returns on September 24.
